Glenaire Retirement Community is proud to present the ninth annual Glenaire 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, April 5, 2025. The race will start and finish at the Community located at 5000 Glenhope Court in Cary. The 5K starts at 9:00 am and the 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 9:05 am.

In 2024 over 490 runners and walkers entered the event. 
Reilly Shew (17:31) led the field across the finish line in the 5K.  Renita Johnson led the women finishing in 20:48.  Omar Wiggan holds the men’s course mark of 16:58 which he ran in 2017. The women’s course mark was set by Erin Taylor in 2017 when she completed the course in 18:54.
