Formerly known as the Second Empire Grand Prix Series, the new NC Race Series is carrying on the traditions of bringing runners together for fun, community and competition.
The series continues to have a great, competitive culture for those who are interested in running for time and placement. In order to be eligible for the Series Awards, runners must run in at least 8 races and register in each race as a competitive runner. At the end of the season, the best 8 times will be scored and totaled. The lower times will be dropped. Awards will be given to the top 5 overall men and women. Awards will also be given to the top 3 age group finishers, men and women. Age groups are as follows: 12-under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-over.
